It functions as expected, and matches the description. It was easy enough to assemble - the pump came pre-assembled. That said i have some grievances that have to do more with my expectations -- things that stand to logic --
1. The top tray of the fountain just "sits" over the bucket - no clip or seal, so it wobbles a little,
2. I was expecting that the standalone fountain comes with a filter, so as i ordered "fountain+ 12 chips" i was expecting to get 13 filters (chips) in all,
3. Other kits from competitors also provide a sponge for the pump with every chip. (i bought separately from a different seller)
